This page and its sub-pages contains information to support members of Group and District Executive Committees. The basic information comes from courses for Executive Committee members (Group, District and County) held in Hereford & Worcester. This information has subsequentially been updated and kept up to date for courses held around the County.
There are now 4 role descriptions for Executive Committee Members applicable for all Group, District and County/Area/Region appointments:
· Role Description for a Chairman of the Executive Committee (FS330030) Edition 2 – Feb 2013
· Role Description for a Treasurer of the Executive Committee (FS2330034) Edition 2 – Feb 2013
· Role Description for a Secretary of the Executive Committee (FS330032) Edition 2 – Feb 2013
· Role Description for an Executive Committee Member (FS330101) Edition 1 – Feb 2013
These can be found on Member Resources and on are downloadable from Scout Shops.
The presentations from the course are available on the dated sub-pages. We recommend that all members of Executive Committees attend such a course (approx 3 hours) within their first months of appointment.
